Mold Inspector Trainee Job Description
No prior mold inspector experience required. Persons with flexible schedules are encouraged to apply. You may be required to be respirator fit tested and have a medical evaluation, clean DMV record, you may also be subject to drug testing and a criminal background check.
Ability to work flexible schedules that may include some evening and weekends, if needed. Must have a current drivers license, registration and auto insurance. Must have excellent organizational habits, communication and technical writing skills. You must also be able to use a computer and know word, excel and outlook.
This opportunity is for a committed candidate who wants to grow with a rapidly expanding company that is headquartered in San Jose California, and who also wants to expand his/her knowledge in the environmental inspection field. This position could become full time.

Outside Sales Representative for Mold Inspection Company
Outside Sales representative Job Description
We are seeking a self motivated otside sales Representative to develop new client relationships within industry related businesses and sell mold inspection services in the Northern & Southern California areas.
Specific Responsibilities
You will need to develop ongoing business relationships with current and potential clients in the fields listed below as well as others that may be industry related;
- Real Estate Professionals
- Insurance Companies and Adjusters
- General Builders
- Doctors and Allergists
- Mold Remediation Contractor
- Property Management Companies
- Home Inspection, Termite and Appraisal Services
- Contractors in the various trades including but not limited to Plumbers, Electricians, Drywall and Painting
This position requires an outside sales minded individual who enjoys the challenge of creating strong professional relationships and generating new business. The ideal candidate must be a team player and customer service focused. A POSITIVE & FRIENDLY personality is paramount.
You can expect to prospect by phone and conduct solicitations at offices and job site locations as needed.
And in addition:
- Attend industry related networking and training events
- Submit detailed weekly activity reports on a timely basis
- Project a positive and professional image when representing GETAMOLDTEST.COM to clients, potential clients as well as the community
We will train the ideal candidate and provide ongoing support and marketing materials as needed. The indoor air quality industry is in its infancy and set for huge growth for years to come. This industry is not generally affecetd by the economy.
Desired Qualifications
Associate's degree in Environmental, Business or a related field is desired, with at least one year of relevant sales or marketing experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidate must have documented sales success and excellent communication skills. Candidate must also possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Experience and contacts in Real Estate or Building Related Industries is a big plus.
- This is a 1099 subcontractor position and salary is commission only. Salary will be based on the following:
- Scheduled and completed inspections through your client building activities
